    I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible; with liberty and justice for all.

    1. Lots of late buses today!
    2. Freshman Officers- Meeting at lunch on today in the library.
    3. Hey Everybody! Check out the Compliment Board on the office windows Monday. Make someone’s day by taking and passing on a compliment!
    4. If you are a sophomore, junior, or senior and have failed or are failing a class, please see Mr. Munger asap!
    5. March Attendance Madness will begin Wed March 1st. Your team is your first hour class.  Come up with a creative team name & submit to your teacher.  The tournament will run 5 weeks; bracket will be posted near the library.  The team with the highest percentage of attendance for the week moves on; loses enter toilet bowl bracket.  There will be weekly prizes and Grand Prize for overall winner. 
    6. Madrigal Auditions- March 6th right after school. See Mrs. Miller for a script and details. 
    7. 7th & 8th Boys Basketball- Turn uniforms into Mr. Mishler.
    8. Seniors- Graduation is coming quickly! Please stop in the office to verify we have the correct name/spelling so we can start preparing! The list is on the counter- highlight your name if it is correct. 
    9. You can now purchase freshly baked cookies each lunch period! Your School Food Service is happy to offer you freshly baked, warm, delicious cookies for sale each day for just $.30 each!! These will be waiting for you during ala carte time. Just grab one, or more, with the waxed paper sheets provided any pay at your nearest register. 
    10. Class of 2017- Start reminiscing the good old days because the Remember When Sign is in the making. The Remember When blanks are in the office just waiting for you to write down all those unforgettable moments from our past. 
    11. 7th/8th grade formal dance will take place March 17th from 6-8 pm. Cost will be $5.00. 
    12. Educational Talent Search is sponsoring 2 SAT preparation events! One February 25th at MMCC’s Harrison campus and another on March 11th at Gladwin High School. Both events are from 11-1 and FREE, including lunch!! Fliers are posted in the hallways with contact information to RSVP. 
    13. Gatehouse will be after school Wednesdays for tutoring.
    14. Co-op students- be sure that you are turning in your hour reports!
    15. Gladwin County Youth Soccer registration dates are March 1st and 2nd at the Gladwin Jr High Library 5:30-7:30. For more information, please stop in at the office and pick up a flyer. 
    16. BYRP Sign-up is here- Sign up at Create-It Monday through Friday from now until March 3rd. The only Sat. sign up will be Feb. 25th from 9-12. 

    Events Tonight:  JVB/JV and Varsity Boys Basketball play at Gladwin tonight.  

    Events results:   JV Girls won against Roscommon last night 32-44.  Kiera VanSickle with 22 pts and 13 rebounds, Tesa Bissonette with 5 pts and 9 rebounds, Roberta Simmons with 4 pts, Jasmine Simmons with 5 pts, 6 rebounds, 1 block.  Hallie Brink with 6 pts and 6 rebounds and Haylee Hannah had 2 pts. Varsity girls suffered a tough loss.

    Happy Birthday:  No birthdays today but Happy Birthday tomorrow to Drew Grove, Nathaniel McWilliams, and Gaige Walker.
